Formed in 2014 by Kepha Arcemont Peace of Blues started when a friend recommended Kepha start a blues rock band. Over the years there has been different musicians collaborating with Kepha and helping to realize his concept in music. His connections with other musicians, have allowed creative ideas and concepts to be realized in his recordings. In 2021 Kepha recorded 8 songs at the legendary, Studio in the Country, in Bogalusa, LA, where Kansas (Leftoverture album) Stevie Wonder, Willie Nelson, Allen Toussaint, and many other great musicians recorded. At the time of the recordings, in the middle of the Covid crisis, Kepha didn't have a drummer who could come in the studio to record. He was fortunate to be able to work with legendary drummer Kenny Aronoff, who laid down the drumming on these songs as well as other studio recordings! Also lending to some studio work was legendary bassist, Philip Bynoe, bassist for Steve Vai. These recordings will be part of an upcoming release of original music that should be available in 2025. Peace of Blues, currently has over 50 recorded original tunes that we rotate in our live shows, mixed with some classic rock music from great bands such as Humble Pie, Mountain and others.
